Where did I say PS3 wasn't going to play Blu-Ray? Obviously since that is the type of technology Sony put into it...the games WILL be on the Blu-Ray disc's. What I was saying is, why would you go out and buy a movie to ONLY play on your PS3? There are SEVERAL HD-DVD players availabe and a slew more movies available for them already. Sony has stated in press releases that they are SHORT on the Blu-Ray disc's themselves. So why if a new movie came out if you can buy it on HD-DVD, would someone WAIT for the Blu-Ray and HOPE they can get a player for under $1000?

As for the comment about UMD...I'll refer you to the NEWS part of my post at the top. Target is already removing the UMD movies from the shelves as they do not sell well. Wal-Mart amongst others are also considering following suit. Many people do not see the point in buying a disk to watch a movie when it will ONLY play on a 3 inch widescreen. It is also stated, that more than likely you will see a shift from movies on UMD to movies on memory cards as the cost to produce them is rapidly dropping and memory sizes also rapidly increasing.

So I suggest you take a bit of your own advice...research before you speak.

and in the english language a single word may have several meanings - especially sex... we usually define it according to the context of sentence usage, thus, it's all relative to the perceived experience at any given point by any given person in time. if you look in the dictionary, as most college kidz do, sex can be defined as "The sexual urge or instinct as it manifests itself in behavior" or it could just mean "the genitals." And what might be masturbation? it's defined as "Excitation of one's own or another's genital organs, usually to orgasm, by manual contact or means other than sexual intercourse." Now that that's out of the way... masturbation is relative to the context when applied ^__^

Is it just that you geniunely hated this game overall, or hated it as a Resident Evil game? Your main qualm with this is that it shares the same title as your beloved Resident Evil, but if it went by any other name you may not have had problems with it. As for me, I never liked previous Resident Evil games. I give credit where credit is due in that it was Resident Evil that truly spawned the survival horror genre, but the gameplay was always lacking in fun although it was full of suspense. This on the other hand gave me that fun as the gameplay was truly in my hands to do what I wanted, as opposed to just figuring out puzzles and running from everything. I think it was a step in the right direction personally. As for me liking complex gameplay like that of RPG's, you are right. But don't you enjoy occasionally turning your brain off for a while and having some mindless fun?

I can understand your sentiment, I felt the same way about Final Fantasy XI. I'm an FF purist, it's turn based, epic storyline roots. Then they release this MMORPG mess, and I still fight it even today. That's the nature of the gamer brain, or at least I think so. Just don't get mad when Resident Evil 5 comes out and it uses the same system, they have already acknowledged that it was successful and people loved it. I'll likely give that a high score too, so I suppose this debate will come up once more soon enough. Take it easy and I look forward to future 'battles' with you.
